Our Company History
It’s our loyal customers that have made us Cape Cod’s leading custom clothing supplier. A lot has changed since our inception, but one thing remains the same: our commitment to quality products and superior customer care. Back in the Day: Kaleidoscope Imprints was founded in 1987. We began as a local screen printing shop on Cape Cod, printing t shirts on manual presses. The technology has changed over the years, and we have grown steadily to become a national supplier of custom apparel and promotional products.
Kaleidoscope Resortwear: The roots of our Kaleidoscope Resortwear clothing line began in Provincetown, Massachusetts at the famous clothing store D.Flax. Our relationship flourished as did the clothing line. In the 1990s we acquired the company as a subsidiary, which was then re-branded as D.Flax @ Kaleidoscope. The innovative styles and creativity that began there over a quarter century ago continue today at Kaleidoscope Resortwear!
Today: Our large capacity facility uses the latest techniques and advanced equipment for all types of apparel, including t shirts, hoodies, hats, sweatshirts, uniforms, work wear, and more. Whether it’s for business, team sports, trade shows, festivals or events, Kaleidoscope is a one stop shop for any type of imprinted merchandise.

Green is our favorite color!
Here at Kaleidoscope, green isn’t just a color, it’s a culture. Our Green Initiative is among the best in our industry.
We have pioneered strategies for filtering and controlling any waste products generated in the screen printing process. Our closed loop reclamation system was one of the first, and still one of the few in the United States.
Using Dane technology and equipment from Denmark, our water filtration achieves 100% containment. This results in zero discharge into septic or sewer. The waste we do contain is professionally transported to a waste water management facility that separates and recycles 100% of the waste.
Because we use Plastisol inks and not water based inks, there are no pigments or heavy metals that enter the ground water through careless or casual cleaning in industrial or residential sinks. People are often mistaken when they think water based inks are green when often the opposite is true. Just because the ink is water based does not mean it’s ok to wash them down the drain! We contain 100% of our ink and emulsion waste. No contaminated water ever goes down a drain.
The Kaleidoscope owners were born and raised on Cape Cod. All of us consider the ponds, rivers, bays and oceans around the Cape our backyard and our playground. This mindset has instilled in us the belief that we are stewards of the environment.
Feel free to come in and ask for a tour of our environmentally conscious dark room. It’s the least glamorous but most important part of any screen printing shop. We’re proud of ours because green is our favorite color!
